Peter Carlsted is the dialog editor on the film A Single Woman. A graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music with degrees in performance and audio engineering, Mr. Carlstedt works as a supervising sound editor and re-recording mixer for film and television.  In addition to A Single Woman, recent projects include Chasing Ghosts with Michael Madsen and Gary Busey;  Miracle at Sage Creek with David Carradine; Edmond, with William Macy; Bone Dry with Luke Goss and Lance Henriksen; The Wizard of Gore with Crispin Glover; Push with Chazz Palminteri; and Cougar Club with Faye Dunaway, Carrie Fisher and Joe Mantegna.

Peter has also worked as a sound designer for the theater, including productions of Neil Labute’s Autobahn; Ariel Dorfman's Widows; Brecht's Life of Galileo and The Threepenny Opera; Ruth Wolff's The Abdication; Shakespeare's Measure for Measure and a one-act version of Macbeth; Mihail Bulgakov’s Flight; and Anne Devlin's Ourselves Alone (a co-production with Alone Productions in New York).  He also designed sound for Circle X Theater Company's Ovation award-winning production of Louis Slotin Sonata by Paul Mullin.
